Photos by SR!

I haven’t posted anything in quite a while just because I haven’t taken a whole lot of pictures in the last couple of weeks. I’ve been pretty swamped at work (Starbucks) and most everything I have planned doesn’t start until October! But until then, I’d like to share THESE with you… 🙂

My dear photographer-friend, Sara Renee, is the best. She did our engagement photos AND our wedding photos—BUT!—she’s also sooo cool that she emailed me a couple weeks ago and asked if we’d be interested in a “follow up” shoot! And I’m all about pictures of me and George together, so of course, I replied with a huge YES! She said she wanted to make it all about “us” and so I asked for a couple things: a picture in front of our apartment because it was our first “home”, something to do with Starbucks because that’s where we met/fell in love, and then she was even kind enough to provide some promotion pictures for my profile/blog/Facebook, etc.! Did I mention that she was awesome??

My new profile picture! I love to laugh. 😀

This picture is funny to me. Check out my gangsta-face!

This lens is bigger than my camera. LOVE IT. Also, I kinda wish I hadn’t put on lip gloss. I’m not a lip gloss kinda girl. 😛

My definition of “sexy.”

I think George and I were trying to stare each other down here.

I love this one for some reason. I think it’s us.

Everyone at once. Ewwwww…

I don’t like my face in this one much. But I love George’s face—he’s super sentimental.

Standing outside the Starbucks we both worked at for two years before we got married. I think the apron tied around both our necks is slightly metaphorical. 😉

So yeah. I’m sorry I haven’t had more to write/blog about. I plan on taking some pictures soonish. But I hope you love these and feel like you know me (and us!) a little better! George is my best friend in the whole world and I’ve been so proud of him the last several weeks. He’s in his last year at Lee and so the pressure is on! He just finished taking his final Praxis exams this week and he feels really good about how he did. He’s been getting all his homework turned in on time and even ahead of schedule. He also commutes to Chattanooga and works, on average, 25 hours per week at his Starbucks. And he never complains or gets frustrated. He even does the laundry and I don’t even ask him to! So he’s pretty awesome. And I love him a lot. You should too. Maybe I’ll do a photoshoot with him and give you all a personal introduction here on the blog in the next couple of days. Whatchoothink? 😉

PS. I bought Adobe Photoshop CS4 this week. I’ve been using Photoshop 7.0 for the last 7-8 years. I’m thinking it’s gonna change my whole universe just like Lightroom did. (!!!)
