If you’re wondering what it was like to photograph my own brother’s wedding, I’ll be totally honest…
It was the most natural thing in the world.
Seriously! I can’t imagine having done it any other way. The last time I was in a wedding was in March and I was so fidgety without my camera… It just didn’t feel right without it. Regardless of whose wedding I’m documenting, it’s an enormous act of love on my part. So of course, documenting a wedding within my own family multiplies that feeling by 10,000.
Family aside, Kyle+Kristin were great “clients” to have. They were so relaxed the entire wedding day and they made sure they were having fun the whole time. Definitely my kind of couple—fun, sweet, quirky, romantic, and totally crazy.

Fun! I love all their details. The diff colored ties, the napkins, the photobooth. The shot of the bride/dad dancing is beeeeeeeautiful!!

I do have one complaint, and the fact that it is only one is pretty good! Not to be all Bridezilla on you, but, the final pictures…
They are great, dont get me wrong. But, thats just the thing. They are TOO great. I am not even close to being half way through them, and I have enough “favorites” to eat up the next 5 pay checks. Next time, if you could be not so awesome, it would make my bank account a lot happier ;). You’re amazing.
