Welcome, Change!

It’s officially here! Thanks to my friend Ian because I am completely computer-retarted, we were able to make the official transition to this! My website/portfolio/blog/business/whatever-you-wanna-call-it!

It’s absolutely amazing how well God times my life. My school days are quickly dwindling down. Officially, my life will launch on May 9th, the day after graduation. However, the question of what I’ll do post-graduation has loomed over me this whole semester and honestly, I just ignored it like a child pestering for a second piece of cake. Even still, God decided to open a door and I didn’t even bother knocking.

I have the amazing opportunity and blessing to work with a professional photographer from the area. Her name is Carrie Workman and she specializes in natural-light portrait photography. She’s been so nice to allow me to visit her home, help her during shoots, and has bestowed the title of “intern” upon me! I don’t think I’m officially an “intern” but its the closest thing to describe the tasks I’ll be performing, so I was flattered! And its exactly what I was hoping for, I just didn’t think I’d have the chance until we moved back to Seattle next year! Having one year left in Tennessee without school bogging me down means I can use that time to learn from Carrie and gain experience!

This is a very exciting time in my life! I feel happy and optimistic for the first time in a long time! I also look forward to regaining the readership I once had but will incorporate my aspirations to be a professional photographer. So I’ll be looking for feedback in addition to business! I welcome anyone who is interested in who I am and what I love to do!

So welcome, Change! And welcome, All!
